19/01/08  - The bar and seating starts to take shape. Some of the painting has begun.

31/01/08  - The new bar gets varnished and the tiles go up behind the bar.
                The seating also gets varnished and is ready for cushions.

The River in flood

These photos were taken on Sunday 20th January 2008. The previous day a number of us were working at the clubhouse and saw an enormous tree float past the moorings. This was followed a couple of minutes later by a small boat powered by a single outboard piloted by one rather insane captain!
